Bloxit is a selective post-emergence herbicide for maize and sugarcane. Halosulfuron-methyl inhibits ALS enzyme, causing stoppage of amino acid synthesis in weeds. Highly effective against purple nutsedge (Cyperus rotundus) and broadleaf weeds at very low dose.
