Dhanuka Sempra is India's first selective herbicide developed specifically to eliminate hard-to-control Cyperus rotundus (Nutgrass/Motha) in Sugarcane and Maize.

Sempra is a post-emergent, highly selective and systemic herbicide, specially designed for effective control of Cyperus rotundus (nutsedge) in Sugarcane, Maize and Bottle Gourd. It is absorbed through the root system and leaf surface, translocates to meristem tissues, and blocks nutrient uptake in weeds within 24 hours—killing nuts/nutlets and preventing re-germination, while remaining safe on the crop when used at the recommended dose.
