Weedcel Super is a selective systemic post-emergence herbicide from Sumitomo. 2,4-D Sodium Salt is a synthetic auxin (phenoxyacetic acid class) that mimics natural plant growth hormone indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) at toxic concentrations in susceptible broadleaf weeds — causing uncontrolled, abnormal growth leading to plant death. Grasses and monocots are largely unaffected.
