NACL Nagarjuna 4G is a granular insecticide based on Cartap Hydrochloride (nereistoxin analogue). Cartap blocks nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in insect nervous systems causing rapid feeding cessation, paralysis and death. Dissolved by irrigation/rain water in standing paddy fields and absorbed by roots for systemic shoot-to-tip protection against hidden borers.
